Aaron Rodgers Wants to Leave The Green Bay Packers !

April 29, 2021 By Nikola Velickovic Leave a Comment

Aaron Rodger apparently does not want to come back to Green Bay Packers, the sources told Adam Schefter. The ESPN’s NFL insider announced this news on his Twitter account, shaking the foundations of the entire league.

Rodgers, a three-time and reigning NFL MVP, is unhappy with the way his team made certain moves, which is why he revealed that he doesn’t want to come back for the 2021 season. All this comes just before the draft, and the speculations that circulate through the social networks is that the management didn’t want to listen to Rodgers’ suggestion regarding draft choices.

It is already known that the Packers have no feeling for Rodgers and his calls to supply him with an elite wide receiver. The No.12 would always produce his targets from mediocre players and lower picks, while on the other side, the team used its picks to cover different positions.

Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday.

More on NFL Live now….

After last year’s draft, Rodgers was heavily upset because Green Bay added a QB, Jordan Love, which resulted in a lack of trust between the team and their biggest star. Even though Rodgers became the MVP and had one of the best years of his career, the wounds didn’t heal properly, especially because the Packers lost in the NFC Championship game at home to Tampa Bay. This was the second straight defeat at this step.

According to speculations, Rodgers wanted Green Bay’s management to go all-in for this season, which would see them being very aggressive on the market, especially on the draft day. One of the NFL’s best players ever feels that his time is running down, while on the other hand, the Packs need a few additions to conquer the conference and attack the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, Green Bay’s management is too conservative, as we already saw that over the past several years. Many experts suggest that such an approach, plus their former head coach Mike McCarthy, prevented Rodgers from having at least one more Super Bowl title.

After hearing tonight’s news, various media houses tried to get in touch with Green Bay’s general manager, Brian Gutekunst, who didn’t reveal any spicy informations. He just said that the team is committed to Rodgers and that they expect him to play in 2021.

“As we’ve stated since the season ended, we are committed to Aaron in 2021 and beyond. Aaron has been a vital part of our success and we look forward to competing for another championship with him leading our team.”

Over the last month, Aaron Rodgers had his agent Dave Dunn fly out to Green Bay for several days of meetings to work through the situation. Rodgers refused a restructure. Wanted an extension. Teams called knowing he wasn’t happy. GB rebuffed them. Offered an extension. No deal.

The fans are already flooding the social networks with comments. Green Bay’s are particularly unhappy, while the others debate which team might be the next destination for Rodgers. Per sources from within the league, trade packages from various sides are being prepared before tonight’s draft, and it seems that we just might see one of the most interesting selection days in the past few decades.

The bidding for arguably the most sophisticated passer in the NFL has already begun, and we are too eager to see what is the final offer.

Also, the latest intel is suggesting that the Packers have offered Rodgers a new contract extension, but the details are still unknown. Whether this is a desperate move or some tactics from Green Bay’s management, we don’t know, but this story will have its conclusion pretty soon, that is for sure.
