NBA Betting Systems

NBA basketball is one of the easiest sports for Vegas to predict and is thus one of the most difficult sports for bettors to turn a profit from. Basketball has less inherent randomness than other sports and the oddsmakers normally set accurate lines.

Because of this fact, NBA bettors who rely on their intuition alone will really struggle and are likely to be buried by their bookie. You need to combat the predictable nature of basketball with some cold, hard data.

The reason that most people do not attempt to analyze data and create statistical models and numbers-based handicapping systems is because it is very difficult to do. What if we told you that we have already done the grunt work and would be willing to share the results with you?

You did not read that wrong. WagerBop will grant access to our entire collection of 9 profitable NBA systems. All you must do is create a free membership on WagerBop. It’s that easy!

WagerBop’s Systems

WagerBop utilizes 9 betting systems for the NBA. Each system has historical data dating back to the 2004-2005 season. In other words, these systems have been making money since “Yeah” by Usher came out!

Over those 14 years, our systems have placed 3,479 bets, or 248 bets per season. That equates to 1 or 2 bets every single night of the season. Unlike some systems which force you to wait for the “perfect” bet, you can always get in on the action with WagerBop’s systems.

Historical Records

We are going to brag a bit here and showcase the consistent profits our NBA systems have pulled in. Here is a breakdown of each system’s performance dating back to the 2004-05 season:

System W L T Profit ROI
NBA System #1 114 65 3 $3,422 22.08%
NBA System #2 379 278 6 $10,226 13.88%
NBA System #3 152 190 0 $6,393 16.43%
NBA System #4 64 42 2 $2,062 23.70%
NBA System #5 199 109 5 $7,649 23.83%
NBA System #6 130 89 1 $3,119 17.82%
NBA System #7 348 252 11 $8,086 12.54%
NBA System #8 239 166 9 $5,381 13.69%
NBA System #9 245 186 3 $6,978 14.27%

These 9 systems have generated an average of 16.02% return on investment per bet and won $55,720 for those who bet $100 per game. Any bettor or investor in the world would be thrilled with a 16.02% ROI.

Sportsbooks are constantly toying with their models and adjusting to trends. The question must be asked: are these systems still turning profit or have they been eradicated? To answer that question, let’s also look at the yearly breakdown of these betting systems:

Year W L T Profit ROI
2017-18 196 150 3 $3,773 13.15%
2016-17 147 90 1  $4,474 12.82%
2015-16 129 101 0  $6,011 25.26%
2014-15 159 108 8  $2,390 10.39%
2013-14 137 116 1  $5,335 19.40%
2012-13 110 68 1  $2,279 8.97%
2011-12 128 89 3  $4,672 26.10%
2010-11 173 94 2  $4,079 18.54%
2009-10 148 130 1  $7,801 29.00%
2008-09 123 95 3  $2,104 7.54%
2007-08 131 98 3  $3,088 13.97%
2006-07 140 101 3  $3,831 16.51%
2005-06 106 89 7  $3,886 15.93%
2004-05 149 121 5  $1,997 9.89%

As you can see, these systems are money, with no losing seasons since their creation. All you must do to gain access to these profitable systems is create a free membership on Wagerbop. As an incentive, we will now reveal ONE of these winning NBA strategies!

Divisional Under Line Swing

Criteria for this strategy:

  • Is a regular season game
  • Is a divisional game
  • Over/Under bets make up less than 40% of total bets on the game
  • The over/under line has moved at least 1 point down since the open
  • Bet the under

Why this strategy works (Applying Intuition):

Because there are not a ton of bets on the total but the over/under line still shifts down, we can assume that there are some big bets placed on the under. Sportsbooks do not care about the amount of bets placed on a side. They care about the amount of money on each side.

Divisional games are often hyped rivalry matchups which the media promotes with highlights of dunks and three-pointers. It is easy for the public to buy into this hype and jump on the over, raising the line and allowing us to cash in on the under.

How this strategy has performed historically:

Year Record ROI Profit
2017-18 30-17-2 23.50% $1,149
2016-17 39-16-0 39.40% $2,167
2015-16 23-19-0 6.80% $286
2014-15 17-21-0 -12.70% -$483
2013-14 28-25-2 3.40% $186
2012-13 17-13-0 11% $330
2011-12 22-12-0 26.50% $903
2010-11 22-12-0 26.20% $889
2009-10 23-8-0 45.80% $1,420
2008-09 27-16-0 23.10% $995
2007-08 20-20-0 -1.70% -$68
2006-07 15-12-0 7% $189
2005-06 22-17-1 10.50% $421
2004-05 9-11-0 -12.80% -$257

There were a couple of rocky seasons early on, but this system has paid out handsomely in recent years! You do not have to be a mathematician to see that “Divisional Under Line Swing” is a strong bet.
