UEFA Champions League: Midtjylland vs. Celtic Preview, Odds, Prediction

Things aren’t looking good for Celtic, who travels to Denmark to meet with Midtjylland in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. The result from the first match is 1-1, but it seems that the Hoops weren’t at the needed level back then. Instead of using the momentum following the guests’ red card, they allowed a goal and wasted a valuable lead before the rematch. Some sources from within the team stated that the players were very demoralized after those 90 minutes. On the other side, the Danes expect the rematch in high spirit, boosted by the solid performance in the domestic championship this weekend.

The match against Aalborg was the Midtjylland’s first in this campaign not to end with goals on both sides. The Wolves played six games so far, including the friendly ones, and four saw a moderate efficiency, meaning 2 or 3 scores.

This side is very strong in all the lines and likes to play open and aggressive football. They are transitioning very fast from defense to attack and don’t mind too much about the rival, but try to dominate throughout 90 minutes.

Celtic (+180) is in awful shape right now with four straight games in which they haven’t triumphed.
