MLS: Inter Miami vs. Nashville SC Preview, Odds, Predictions, Picks

Inter Miami hosts Nashville SC in the first MLS meeting they play at home with Lionel Messi in the lineup. The Herons look superb right now, and the fans hope to see them reaching the playoffs and, after that, maybe going all the way. There are plenty of reasons for such optimism because Inter dominantly won the Leagues Cup. Nashville is currently in the playoff zone, barely above the play-in, which puts pressure on the visitors. By the way, these teams met in the Leagues Cup finals a few days ago, with Inter winning after the penalties.

Inter Miami (-200) is on a rampage. Lionel Messi’s magic is the reason why this team is still undefeated since the Argentinian’s debut. The No.10 is incredible, and his presence on the field creates a difference.

We’ve seen him shining in Inter’s latest victory against the New York Red Bulls on the road, 0-2. The crowd in the Big Apple had an opportunity to see why is he the best ever for many. Messi’s presence made the Herons monsters on the offensive end, with the team constantly scoring two or more goals per game. 

Inter didn’t lose in the last nine events, winning all of them, whether was during the regular 90 minutes or after extra times or the penalties. We also need to say that their performances haven’t been better only due to Messi but Sergio Busquets, whom we always mention in our previews.  

Nashville SC (+500) had five wins in six events during the Leagues Cup, looking very good and beating the rivals after spectacular performances. Though, after losing to Inter in the finals, they suffered one very unpleasant kick in the teeth.

Atlanta was better in Georgia, 4-0, inflicting not only an unexpectedly high defeat, but also ripping apart the SC in all aspects of the game. They’ve had tough failures since the campaign began, yet none was like this at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The team from Geodis Park isn’t playing well away from their stadium when looking at the MLS challenges, not winning on the past six road trips.

Predictions

Inter is an absolute favorite in this event, and given the way this unit plays, they will be in such a position against any team in the MLS. Of course, if they keep up with the current pace.
