Soccer Bomb – Pep Guardiola Might Join Juventus!

The situation which could shake the soccer world is currently heating up. It appears that Pep Guardiola might be leaving Manchester City. Although, both club and the manager denied such speculations, the latest one in the sea of the news linking the Spaniard and the Italian champion appeared today.

Several European media houses revealed earlier this mourning that Guardiola and the Old Lady agreed upon a deal which will land City’s coach at Allianz Stadium and leave him there for the upcoming four seasons.

According to all those sources, the Spanish manager would get 20 million euros per year (arround $22.3 million) plus the bonuses for winning the trophies. Having in mind that Juventus’ primary goal is to win the Champions League, there are some rumors saying that his bonus for that would be enormous.

Guardiola should officially sign the deal somewhere between June 4th and 14th, and will immediately be presented to the public and the media.

Juventus and their former manager Massimiliano Allegri decided to part ways after this season and the unsuccessful campaign in the Champions League.

But what brings a certain dose of doubt in this news is the fact that both Manchester City and Guardiola denied such a scenario on several occasions.

The manager himself stated at least three times in the past couple of months that he isn’t going anywhere from Manchester until he brings a Champions League trophy at Etihad Stadium.

“How many times do I have to say? I’m not going to go to Juventus — for now at least,” Guardiola said before the finals of the FA Cup against Watford. “I am satisfied here, I am not going anywhere.”

But at that point, things were much different regarding the City’s position. Right now, the Sky-Blues are being investigated by the UEFA because of the alleged breach of the Financial Fair Play rules.

Judging by the information from the media, it is quite possible that the English champions get a one-year ban from the international competitions and a substantial financial fee. This isn’t the first time for the Citizens to be in the center of the investigation, as they were already fined in the summer of 2014 for the same reasons. Back then, the club and UEFA settled for a $67.3 million fine, which was one of the largest in the history of sports.

Right now, it appears that City might be in much bigger trouble as they already committed the same offense in the past, and the European house of football has pretty harsh penalties for such cases.

Because of all that, Guardiola might be thinking of changing the environment, and all the speculations regarding his position in Manchester, are boosted by the current UEFA investigation.

With the arrival of Guardiola, many of them would decide to come to Italy, and Juventus could finally make a team worthy of reaching their third European title.
