Tom Brady Also Unhappy With the “New Helmet Rule”, Brown’s Grievance Declined

Tom Brady joined Antonio Brown in protests because of the new helmet rule. The six-time Super Bowl champion stated that he also has problems with the new demands; but, on the other hand, doesn’t have any choice when it comes to his desire to wear this part of the equipment. Simply the league is stronger than him.

Brady admitted that he explores other options, and wears different types of helmets in the hope that he might find a suitable replacement. Until that moment, he has to keep looking for the solution

“I’ve been experimenting with a couple of different ones, and I don’t really love the one that I’m in, but I don’t really have much of choice,” Brady said. “So I’m just trying to do the best I can to work with it.”

Brady too can’t believe that after years of having a single helmet, he now has to look for a different one. That last one he wore was with him through four Super Bowls and was an irreplaceable part of his everyday routine.

“You get used to the same helmet for a long period of time. My last helmet, I wore it the last four Super Bowls, so it was a pretty great helmet for me. I hated to put it on the shelf,”

Both guys are saying that new products are decreasing their sight and that they don’t have a complete vision of the court.

Unlike Brown, who decided to go all the way and fight for his rights, Brady tried to switch to other helmets last year. Pats’ leader eventually backed out from such an attempt, saying that there isn’t a model which might suit him well enough. His future reaction is still not known, but he obviously isn’t too happy.

In the meantime, Brown’s grievance filed against the league has been declined, and he will be forced to wear a new helmet; otherwise, AB won’t play. It is the latest news on this matter, which makes everything even more problematic.

What also adds fuel to the fire, are the player’s threats that he might sit out the entire season if he isn’t allowed to have back his old helmet. Before all this, Brown even indicated that he might retire from playing professional football if his requests aren’t fulfilled. Knowing the mentality of this guy, such a scenario wouldn’t be a surprising one.

Then again, what gives hope to the Raiders fans that they might enjoy in some of Brown’s spectacular catches is his latest Instagram post. He expressed strong disagreement with the decision of the arbitrage, but looks forward to coming back to the team once he recovers from the injury.

Since the preseason activities started, AB didn’t have a single practice with his new team.

Jon Gruden stated that the real reason for that is his frostbite injury. However, the former Super Bowl winner with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers publicly backed his player in his search for justice.

Gruden explained although they suffer the most in this situation, the organization will keep providing support for the player.

Raiders already played one preseason match, against the LA Rams, and won that contest with 14-3. They are now heading for Arizona, to play with the Cardinals and the no.1 pick from this year’s draft Kyler Murray.
