Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea clash in the United States of America during their summer preseason tour. The two units have already played recently, and most players in both squads remember clashes from the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. Chelsea was better back then, eliminating the Millionaires, who probably want to get even and have a bigger motive to win the upcoming encounter.

Borussia Dortmund (+185) has had five matches so far, and they won all of them. After some domestic rivals, the Millionaires went to America, where they first trashed San Diego Loyal, 6-0, before beating Manchester United, 3-2. 

The meeting against the Red Devils was interesting. United took the lead, but Donyell Malen netted twice, while Moukoko brought the winner 20 minutes before the end. Borussia was everything that their fans wanted them to be, rational, efficient, and confident. 

They allowed the rivals to take the ball possession and dictate the tempo, but without making anything noticeable while being extremely dangerous on the other end of the field. A very important thing is Marcel Sabitzer’s good display, as the midfield had an assist. 

Chelsea (+135) is also without a defeat during the preseason, with them winning three games and having one tie, which was against Newcastle, 1-1. At first, the Blues beat Wrexham, 5-0, then Brighton, 4-3, and in the most recent contest, Pochettino’s crew was better than Fulham, 2-0. 

The Blues have one of the most explosive attacking duos in the world, with Mudryk and Nkunku. The two possess incredible acceleration and top speed, allowing Pochettino to set up tactics much differently than before. He knows that the speed of these two can cover up many things and open the door for different variations. 

Chelsea’s attack has been relentless throughout the preseason, so it’s no wonder why the bookmakers see them as favorites before this clash. They have been firing from all weapons against established rivals.

Borussia is comfortable with both of those approaches, and we’ve seen them using either over the past few days. In general, both squads produce high amount of chances, which results in goals. So for us the logical pick would be both teams to score and over 2.5 goals. The odds are very good, +100, which is something unexpected. At least for our tipster crew. Some of them felt this is a jackpot of the day.
