Wolfsburg and Dortmund meet in one of this round’s Bundesliga derbies. These two sides had UEFA Champions League challenges during midweek, and both of them failed to get back home with positive results. Wolfsburg lost in Spain to Sevilla, while Dortmund’s defeat in Lisbon put them in a very tough situation. This is a chance for them to redeem and get three points which would mean a lot for the morale in the locker room and the position in the Bundesliga standings.

Wolfsburg (+188) has been without a win in the past two games, playing 2-2 in Bielefeld against Arminia, and losing in Sevilla, 2-0. They now have to win in the last round against Lille at home to advance to the knockout stage.

The Wolves aren’t playing convincing at all. Their results are mixed, and there is no pattern nor logic in them at all. Wolfsburg knows to lose at home against some mediocre rivals, but also to defeat Leverkusen on the road after that.
