Premier League: Liverpool vs. Manchester United Preview, Odds, Predictions (Mar 5)

Liverpool needs to get out of the crisis, and the perfect way is to defeat Manchester United in the derby game of the English Premier League round 26. The Reds would want to forget this season as soon as possible, but right now, have to collect points to reach the top-four zone and secure the UEFA Champions League next year. Manchester has momentum following a win in the Carabao Cup finals and a tremendous streak of positive results posted across all the competitions. The Red Devils crave revenge for last year’s humiliations against the big rivals, and want to hit back at Anfield.

Liverpool has several players who won’t play; Luis Diaz is the most important. Joe Gomez, Thiago, and Ramsay are also out for sure. Arthur is questionable, but we believe he won’t be in the protocol as well.

Eriksen, Greenwood, Martial and van de Beek are unavailable for United, while Luke Shaw remains questionable.

Both teams are efficient and score goals regardless of the defense on the other side. This should be a high-intensity event, with two teams that like to dictate the tempo and engage in offensive-minded contests.
