Serie A: Lazio vs. Inter Milan Preview, Odds, Prediction

Stadio Olimpico in Rome will host the clash between Lazio and Inter Milan, arguably one of the most interesting games in Serie A this weekend. The hosts lost the pace with the top teams in the league, and can’t allow wasting any more points. Otherwise, the Champions League spot could stay out of reach early on this year. As for Inter, they are currently behind the city rivals, AC Milan and Napoli, playing well overall. They have the most efficient attack in the league, despite losing Romelu Lukaku this summer.

Lazio (+240) was blown into pieces in Bologna in the last match before the start of the international break. The hosts won 3-0, practically humiliating the rivals in all aspects of play. That was the first defeat for the Eagles in five events.

After recording two draws to Cagliari and Torino, and winning two in a row, Roma and Lokomotiv Moscow, the fans expected to see their favorites keeping on with the solid performances, but that didn’t happen.

Lazio’s games at home are much different than the ones on the road. They tend to play more efficiently at Olimpico, and since the campaign started in all four events in Rome, Lazio netted at least twice and a total of 13 times.

Lazio needs to attack and redeem for the previous loss. As said before, they play much better at home, so we expect them to play aggressively and offensively. Inter will play, as usual, trying to score as soon as possible and break the rival with its superb attacking line. Our first pick here would be over 2.5 goals, with the odd for that at -165. In order to increase them a little bit, try adding both teams to score. That will boost the numbers to -140, which is ok.
