Neymar Next Club Odds – Chelsea and Barcelona on Top, Newcastle Move in the Mix

May 10, 2023 By Nikola Velickovic Leave a Comment

Neymar and his stint in Paris Saint-German is apparently over, as the team from the French capital plans a radical rebuild during the upcoming summer transfer window. Neither he nor Lionel Messi will be a part of the Saints next season. Reportedly, Messi has three choices, Barca, Inter Milan or Saudi Arabia, while on the other side, Neymar’s future is completely unknown.

Several teams are allegedly bidding for his signature, and ,they stand above all the others in the sea of names. This article will present the top favorites for landing the Brazilian.

Neymar is ready to leave PSG this summer despite still having four years remaining on his contract, sources tell @LaurensJulien.

Chelsea

Right out of nowhere, Neymar and Chelsea were put together in the same sentence during the World Cup. Now, back then, nobody noticed that nor gave too much attention due to the ongoing tournament in Qatar. Depending on the bookmaker, the odds on this move are between +600 and +700.

The Blues are making a new team following a disastrous campaign in which we saw them changing the owner, the philosophy, and pretty much everything, plus collapsing on the field. A lot of money is invested in the current unit, but there isn’t a leader, and Neymar would be perfect for such a role.

Barcelona

With +600, Blaugrana shares the top of the list with Chelsea, but many say this is because Barca is always linked with its former superstars. Indeed, this team needs a forward because Dembele, Fati, Lewandowski, and others haven’t been consistent and efficient enough.

Neymar arrival would change that for sure, but this Barcelona isn’t the one from a few years ago when he and Messi played. The mentality is different, the tactics are different, strategy, everything.

Real Madrid

Los Blancos are often known for stealing players from Barcelona, and they wouldn’t mind doing the same thing again. Ronaldo and Figo are the most known examples, and Neymar would outshine both. Imagine Vinicius on one and Neymar on the other side. That would be perfect.

Real needs to make some changes in the attack, but they need a typical striker, and Neymar is more of a forward or a winger. Also, whether Ancelotti will change anything in his unit is questionable, especially if Los Blancos defend the UEFA Champions League title.

Manchester City

Guardiola’s crew is always in the mix when it comes to big transfers, but this won’t happen because City already has enough good players up front, and with Haaland leading the way, there is no need to change the winning combination. Odds on this one are at +1200.

Manchester United

The way Erik Ten Hag treated Cristiano Ronaldo, the possibility of seeing Neymar at Old Trafford. Still, the media believes otherwise, and the bookies too, with the odds of this transfer happening sitting at +1400.

Newcastle

Now here is a potential bingo. The Magpies are in the Champions League zone and have unlimited financial resources after the Saudi takeover, so we might see the next big thing in football happening.

Odds at +1600 are looking like a must-try. Newcastle will make a shopping spree this summer to boost its roster before the UCL begins, and sources claim that they might even bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to Europe. Seeing Neymar next to him would make the team from St. James’ Park a marketing magnet.
